PC (Steam or Game Pass)

• Nexus Mods: the largest library. Use a mod manager such as Vortex or Mod Organizer 2.
• Starfield Script Extender (SFSE): some larger mods need it. Check each mod’s requirements before installing.
• Game Pass version: some bigger mods, such as StarUI, may need the SFSE ASI Loader. The Steam version has the widest mod compatibility.

Xbox and PS5

Console players install mods through the in-game Creations menu. Pick a mod, press Download, and it activates when you load a save. Mods from Nexus are PC-only, and anything that needs SFSE will not work on console.

Do Mods Disable Achievements?
