Starfield Console Commands & Cheats Guide 2026 – Full List

Starfield on PC includes a built-in developer console that lets you enter commands to modify your game — adding items, changing stats, enabling god mode, and much more. This guide covers every useful console command in Starfield for 2026, updated for the Terran Armada DLC.

Important: Console commands are PC-only (not available on Xbox or PS5). Using them disables achievements for that save file.

How to Open the Console

Press the tilde key (~) or grave accent (`) while in-game to open the developer console. Type your command and press Enter to execute. Press tilde again to close.

  • tm – Toggle all UI/HUD elements (clean screenshots)

How to Find Item IDs

To find any item’s ID, open the console and click on the item in the world. Its Base ID appears in the console. Use the Base ID (not the RefID) with player.additem commands. The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (UESP) Starfield wiki also has a comprehensive item database.

Tips for Safe Console Use

  • Always save first – Some commands can break quest scripts. Save before experimenting.
  • Achievements disabled – Opening the console disables achievements for that save. Keep a separate achievements save.
  • Use setstage carefully – Forcing quest stages can cause NPCs to spawn incorrectly.
  • Back up saves – Keep multiple save files when testing console commands.
  • Mods may conflict – Disable mods before troubleshooting with console commands.
