The Starfield noclip command is tcl (toggle collision). It lets you fly through walls, floors and terrain, which is the quickest fix when you get stuck in geometry. It only works on PC.

How to Use Noclip in Starfield

  1. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console.
  2. Type the command below and press Enter.
  3. Move with WASD. Look up or down to fly in that direction.

Does Noclip Disable Achievements?

Using the console disables achievements for that save. Make a separate save before using any command if achievements matter to you.

Noclip Not Working?

  • Make sure the console is open (you will see a text line at the bottom of the screen).
  • Console commands are PC-only. Xbox and PS5 have no console.
  • If you are stuck after turning noclip off, turn it back on, move to open ground, then toggle it off again.

When to Use Noclip

  • Stuck in terrain or geometry, for example after landing, a boost pack jump or placing an outpost module.
  • A bugged door or quest gate. Make a save first, because skipping quest triggers can break later steps.
  • Items out of reach, like loot that fell behind a wall or under the floor.
  • Exploring hidden or out-of-bounds areas. Pair it with tfc for screenshots.

Noclip Speed and Movement Tips

  • Quicksave (F5) before you type tcl, in case you end up somewhere you cannot get out of.
  • Hold sprint to fly faster. For more speed, use player.setav speedmult 300, then set it back with player.setav speedmult 100.
  • To fly up or down, look in that direction and move forward.
  • Only type tcl again (noclip off) once you are over solid ground, or you will fall through the world.
